Welcome to the Sailboat Market's auction. The Sailboat Market Auction is designed to generate excitement about your boat. If you want to sell it fast, the Auction just might be the tool for the job.

We have tried to make the site as simple as possible but there are a few things you should know about the process. First of all, if you wish to auction your boat you must first list your sailboat (3 months or 12 months) with our traditional listing service. Second, you must register as a Sailmarket Auction member whether you want to list or bid (See "Register" below). And third... there is no third... just follow the steps below.

The Sailboat Market Auction is intended to be a venue for bringing sailboat sellers and buyers together. While we expect buyers to honour their bids and sellers to honour their "reserve prices" we are not in a position to ensure that this occurs in all cases. We have instead structured the service so that all bidders must register and the winning bidder will be charged $20 U.S. (This should all but eliminate "spurious" bids). We will also keep records of unsatisfactory auction transactions (as reported by our customers) and bar transgressors from future participation. Please read the user agreement (above).
