Associate Broker Program Details

As a SailBoat Market associate broker our goal is to assist you in reaching a community of targeted buyers that will increase the exposure of your listings, to capture market information on your specific listings, and also to provide you with a list of what particular SailBoats our client sailors are looking for. As part of our commitment to help you sell boats, we will provide the following services to you as a registered broker.

Associate Broker Benefits

  • Most Wanted List - A unique feature within the www.TheSailBoatMarket.com site is the "Notify Me" service. In this section, Buyers indicate the type of boat that they are looking. The SailBoat Market will provide you a list of wanted boats at the end of each month. Once you list a boat that fits this selection, an email will be sent automatically to all interested Buyers.
  • Listing Statistics - You will receive a customized report at the end of each month that will provide you with information on the "hits" (perspective Buyers) that your specific listings have received.
  • Web Page Advertisement - Within www.TheSailBoatMarket.com is a section unique to SailBoat Brokers. This section is organized in geographically to make it easy for potential Buyers to locate you. Your company name has a link that will provide a one-page overview of who you are, and other services that you may offer. If you have your own Internet web page, we will provide a direct link to your site. Having a web presence is one thing, but having a web presence within a defined community of interest is invaluable.
  • 24 Hour Access - We will provide you with a unique User Name and Password that will give you the ability to add, remove or edit any listings when it is convenient for you.
  • Listing Assistant - If you prefer, send us your listings via email, courier or regular mail, and The SailBoat Market will add your boats on your behalf.

  • We are a crew of 4 sailors with a passion. We are in the initial stages of making www.TheSailBoatMarket.com the point of reference for the sailing community. We have over 40 years of combined experience in working with the Internet. We know how to draw the eyes of targeted buyers through the Internet and traditional advertising (you may have seen our ads in Sail and Cruising World). Associated Costs

  • Monthly Memberships - Plans for small or large listers. Smaller listers can choose our $30 per month for up to 5 listings, and $2 a month for each additional listing while larger customers pay a flat US$50 per month rate for up to 100 listings. Both plans entitle you to receive all of the associated Broker Benefits listed above.
  • Yearly Membership - US$250 per year. Add, Remove, Edit up to one hundred listings, and also receive the Associated Broker Benefits listed above.
  • Introductory Special - As part of launch of The SailBoat Market, you can become an Associated Broker at no cost, list up to fifty boats, and receive the Associate Broker Benefits free of charge for two months.
