Thanks : The pros of the Macgregor is the low price, and you can easily haul it on a trailer. However,...the CONS... it is the cheapest (as in GARBAGE) boat on the market! I wouldn't venture too far from shore with one... The construction is inadequate, the rigging is too small and the finish...well, you get what you pay for. If you have the budget to buy a new MacGregor...perhaps it would be wiser to take that money and buy anything else,used...and it will be better. Good luck.
